In an effort to serve you more efficiently, our office utilizes an automated telephone system. When you call our office you will hear a recorded message stating, “Thank you for calling the Lubbock Cancer Center. You have reached the office of Dr. Rodolfo Martinez.”  The menu message may be heard in Spanish by pressing 1 or in English by pressing 2.

It is not necessary to listen to the entire menu. As soon as the message begins, you may press one of the following numbers to reach a specific department, you may dial the extension of the person you are calling, or you may dial  0  to reach the Front Office.
 


The following options are available:

 

Press 1     To schedule an appointment

 

Press 2     To speak with a nurse.  Press 1 for chemotherapy, 2 for non-chemotherapy

 

Press 3     To request a prescription refill.   Leave a detailed message with the name of

                 the medication, prescription number, pharmacy name and telephone number.

 

Press 4     To speak to someone about your bill or your insurance

 

Press 5     To speak to someone in Medical Records

 

Press 6     To speak to someone in Pharmacy regarding your infusion pump

 

Press 7     To speak to someone in the Lab

 

Press 8     To speak to someone in Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources

 

If the person you are calling is not available, you will be transferred to a voice mailbox. You may leave a recorded message and your call will be returned promptly.
